Teen arrested in Port Lincoln

A teenager has been arrested after attempted break-ins in the Port Lincoln area.

It will be alleged that about 10.20am on Tuesday 23 April, a 14-year-old local boy was arrested after he allegedly committed a series of attempt break-ins on properties and vehicles in the marina area.

The boy was charged with being unlawfully on premises and attempt illegal interference.

He was bailed to appear in the Port Lincoln Youth Court on 27 June.

A knife was located at one of the scenes and a torch at another crime scene.

They have been seized and sent for forensic testing as investigations continue.
