Investigators from SA JACET, a joint task force between SAPOL's Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), have arrested a man following a search of his home this morning.
As a result of an investigation into online child exploitation material (CEM), Detectives conducted a search at a southern suburbs home today (Tuesday 30 June) and seized a number of electronic devices for further analysis.
As a result, a 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with possessing child exploitation material. He was refused police bail and appeared in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.
"The SA JACET remain committed to identifying offenders, protecting children from harm and holding those responsible accountable for their actions," said Detective Inspector Matthew Fitzpatrick, Officer in Charge of the Special Crime Investigation Branch.
