Arrest made after firearms search in Whyalla

Around 1pm Friday 2 May, Whyalla police attended a house on Hinks Avenue, Whyalla and conducted a search. During this search, patrols located three gel blasters and a homemade firearm concealed at the property.

A 40-year-old man from Whyalla was arrested and charged with possessing a firearm without a licence. He was granted bail to appear in the Whyalla Magistrates Court on 3 June.
