A woman will face court after police allegedly uncovered knives and drugs in her car at Magill last night.

Eastern District patrols stopped a speeding Subaru sedan on St Bernards Road about 11.30pm on Tuesday 16 June.

Officers had cause to search the vehicle and driver, where they allegedly located two flick knives, methamphetamine, MDMA, ecstasy, diazepam and fantasy.

The 48-year-old woman from Magill was reported for carrying an offensive weapon and possessing prescription medication without excuse. She was also issued with a drug diversion for possessing the remaining illicit substances.

She will be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in the coming months.
