Police are investigating after two suspicious fires were lit within the same CBD building.
Just after 7pm on Thursday 18 September, police and Metropolitan Fire Service crews were called to a vacant property on Currie Street, Adelaide, following reports of smoke coming from the building.
Firefighters extinguished personal effects that had been set alight in a doorway. No damage was caused to the structure and no suspects were located.
About 8pm, police and fire crews were called back to the same property following reports of another fire.
On arrival, flames were seen coming from within the building. Firefighters forced entry to the premises and extinguished debris and bedding that had been set alight. No one was located inside.
Crime Scene Investigators and detectives attended and are treating both fires as suspicious.
Investigations are continuing.
