Crash at Woodville North

Just after 4.30am today (Friday 18 September), police arrived at the scene of a crash on Hanson Road, where a Suzuki sedan had collided with a stobie pole.

The crash knocked power lines loose from the pole, but the driver and sole occupant, a 34-year-old Ferryden Park man was able to get himself out of the vehicle.

The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Road closures are currently in place at the intersection of Hanson Road and Fourth Avenue for southbound traffic.
