PD Duke nabs man for offence in the CBD

A man has been arrested in the CBD last night.

Just after 11.30pm on Sunday 7 April police responded to reports of a man breaking into an apartment on Franklin Street.

Cordons were quickly put in place and patrols searched the area with the assistance of PD Duke who located the suspect hiding in a carpark nearby.

Located nearby the suspect were a bandana, torch and gloves allegedly use when trying to break-in the premises.

A 35-year-old man from Lyrup was arrested and has been charged with going equipped. He did not apply for bail and will appear before the Adelaide Magistrates Court today (Monday 8 April).
