Man arrested for aggravated assault at Semaphore Park

Just after 2am on Wednesday 9 September, police were called to an address at Eagle Court after reports that a woman had been stabbed.

Western District patrols attended and located a 47-year-old woman with minor injuries.

Police arrested a 73-year-old Semaphore Park man at the scene without incident.

The man was charged with aggravated assault and threats to kill.

He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
