Aggravated robbery at Marino

About 11.30pm on Tuesday 8 September, a man was walking near the McConnell Avenue Reserve at Marino when he saw two males riding scooters in the nearby car park.

They followed the victim before one of the males approached him and produced a knife before demanding property.

A gold chain, wallet, cash and a mobile phone were stolen.

The victim was not physically injured during the incident.

The first suspect is described as being about 35-years-old, Caucasian, with stubble and thick bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a dark green jumper with black stripes down the sleeves and was riding a black and red electric scooter fitted with a seat.

The second suspect is described as being aged about 19-years-old, Caucasian, clean shaven, with a silver ball piercing through his lower lip. He was wearing a black beanie and a black jumper with a white stripe across the chest displaying the word "Nautica". He was riding a push scooter.

Police conducted patrols and searched the Marino area overnight but were unable to locate the suspects.
