Cannabis seized at Kingscote

A woman was arrested after police seized drugs from her Kingscote home on Friday.

About 3.30pm on Friday 17 April, Kangaroo Island Police attended a home at Kingscote to conduct a search.

Officers located approximately 5.5kg of dried cannabis.

A 57-year-old woman was arrested for trafficking a commercial quantity of a controlled drug and hinder police. She was bailed to appear in the Kingscote Magistrates Court on 17 August.
