Drink driver crashes at Plympton

30 Oct 2026 9:23pm

A man has been reported for drink driving after crashing at Plympton.

About 6.30pm on Friday 30 October, police were called to Anzac Highway, Plympton, following reports of a Nissan station wagon crashing into a parked Mazda sedan, causing the Nissan to then collide with a Mercedes station wagon.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The driver of the Nissan, a 20-year-old man from Glenelg East, was submitted to a roadside breath test, which police will allege returned a positive result of 0.116 - more than two times the legal limit.

Checks on the man's licence revealed he was unlicensed.

The driver was reported for drink driving, aggravated driving without due care, and driving while unlicensed.

The man will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
