Stabbing in the CBD

About 9.15pm on Monday 15 June, police were called to Twin Street after reports a boy had been stabbed during a fight with another boy.

The 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Eastern District patrols searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

Police are following positive lines of enquiry as the investigation continues.

The incident is not believed to be random as the two boys are known to each other.
