Death of man at Mount Gambier

Police are preparing a report for the Coroner following an incident at Mount Gambier this morning.

Just before 9am on Saturday 11 July, emergency services were called to a Penola Road home after four occupants were found unconscious inside the property.

Sadly, a 55-year-old man died at the scene.

Three other occupants were taken to hospital for treatment of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

Limestone Coast police are investigating, and the incident is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
