An unlicensed drink driver has been caught by police in Port Augusta West Thursday night.
About 10pm Thursday 12 June, Port Augusta police stopped a Kia wagon on Harris Crescent after seeing it driving without its headlights turned on.
The unlicenced driver underwent a breath test and recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.156- more than 3 times the legal limit.
The 48-year-old Port Augusta man was reported for drink driving and driving unlicenced never held. He will appear in court at a later date.
The man’s car was impounded for 28 days.
