Facebook Competition – ‘Name our Neighbourhood Watch Dog Mascot’

The Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers Association of South Australia Incorporated is holding a competition for Primary school aged (or younger) children to name our new Neighbourhood Watch Dog mascot.

What do you think our dog should be called? Have your say! Visit the Neighbourhood Watch SA Facebook page to submit your mascot name. The winner will receive naming rights to the dog and a visit to any nominated South Australian Primary School and by the mascot and members of South Australia Police.

Terms and conditions

• Entry is open to South Australian residents aged 18 years and older on behalf of a child attending a South Australian primary school, kindergarten, playgroup or child care centre.
• This competition is being held and judged by the Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers Association of South Australia Incorporated.
• Members of the Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers Association of South Australia Incorporated Board of Management are ineligible to enter this competition.
• Any costs associated with entering remain the responsibility of each entrant and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
• The competition commences 09:00am (ACDT) Saturday 11^th November 2017 and closes on 5:00pm (ACDT) Sunday 31st December 2017.
• The prize will include the naming of the Neighbourhood Watch Dog Mascot and a visit to the nominated primary school by the mascot and members of South Australia Police.
• Entry must be undertaken by commenting on the Neighbourhood Watch SA Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/NeighbourhoodWatchSA) post regarding the mascot competition.
• The winning name will be selected solely by the Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers Association of South Australia Incorporated Board of Management and their decision is final.
• In the event of the winning name being suggested more than once, the earliest submission on the Neighbourhood Watch SA Facebook page will win the prize.
• Winners will be notified by a comment on the Neighbourhood Watch SA Facebook competition post by 4:00pm (AEST) on Thursday Monday 15^th January 2018. Winners will be required to send back their name; contact number and e-mail address in order to claim the prize.
• Whilst best efforts will be made to contact the winners, in the event that for any reason the winners cannot be notified after reasonable attempts, then the Neighbourhood Watch Volunteers Association of South Australia Incorporated Board of Management will select another winner.
