A woman was airlifted to hospital following a serious crash at Port Wakefield yesterday afternoon.
About 4pm on Sunday 4 October, emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle rollover on the Copper Coast Highway, Port Wakefield, just south-east of the Yorke Highway.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota sedan, a 66-year-old woman from Murray Bridge, was seriously injured in the crash. She was treated at the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to Adelaide for treatment.
Her car was towed from the scene.
The Copper Coast Highway remained open at reduced speeds while police investigated the crash. Traffic restrictions have been lifted.
