Man arrested at Wallaroo

Just after 5pm on Thursday 24 September, police received a number of calls regarding a man acting erratically and in possession of a knife at the Wallaroo Jetty.

Patrols responded and arrested the man. The knife was also recovered.

There were no reports of any injuries.

A 50-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with carrying an offensive weapon, disorderly behaviour and resist police. He did not apply for bail and will appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court tomorrow.
