A driver has been fined after he was caught speeding at Condowie.
About 1.39pm today (Wednesday 10 April), police detected a black Mazda sedan travelling at 123km/h in a 100km/h zone on Condowie Plain Road.
The driver, a 61-year-old Northern Territory man was stopped and underwent a random driver test, returning a positive reading for cannabis.
A search of his vehicle uncovered a small amount of cannabis.
The man was fined for exceeding the speed limit and drug possession. He may face further penalties once his drug test has been forensically analysed.
