Western suburbs drink driver

About 3.00am this morning Monday 19 May, police stopped a Toyota station wagon travelling without headlights on South Road, Croydon Park.

Patrols stopped the car and spoke with the driver, a 33- year-old woman from Kilburn. She submitted to a breath test where she provided a positive result of 0.189 – more than three times over the legal limit.

The woman was reported for drink driving, issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence and her car was impounded for 28 days.

She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
