Police have arrested two men after a robbery at Hendon this afternoon.
Just after 3pm, Friday 23 May two men entered a tobacconist on Tapleys Hill Road armed with a knife and demanded cigarettes from the shop assistant.
Thankfully no one was injured.
They stole cigarettes and ran through the back of the store onto Paqualin Street.
Witnesses managed follow the suspects and provide police the direction of travel. Police located the two men on Denton Street where they were arrested.
A 19-year-old man from Tea Tree Gully and a 21-year-old man have both been charged with robbery and property damage.
The 19-year-old was refused bail and will appear before the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 26 May.
The 21-year-old was bailed to the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on the 4 July.
Police advise that the matter is not linked to Operation Eclipse.
