Two arrested after fire at Bowden

A man and woman have been arrested following a disturbance and house fire at a Bowden home.

About 4am on Wednesday 1 July, police responded to reports of a suspicious behaviour in Tenth Street in Bowden.

While at an address, police observed a fire within a room of the address. Police and fire crews subsequently extinguished the fire.

A 33-year-old Mansfield Park man was arrested and charged with arson, aggravated assault and assaulting an emergency worker. No injuries were reported.

A 25-year-old woman of no fixed place was arrested and charged with arson.

They will both appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 2 July.

Western District CIB detectives and Crime Scene Investigators attended the scene and the investigation continues.
