Police have arrested three people following drug seizures at Port Adelaide and Adelaide.
Just before 8.30pm on Thursday 11 June, police were called to a licensed premises at Port Adelaide following reports of suspicious behaviour.
Police attended and had cause to search, locating amounts of methamphetamine and heroin, and other items associated with drug dealing.
A subsequent search was conducted at the man’s Ferryden Park home where police found further evidence of drug trafficking.
A 45-year-old man from Ferryden Park was charged with four counts of trafficking a controlled drug. He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 10 July.
As a result of further investigations, police attended and searched an Adelaide apartment on Saturday 13 June. Police seized numerous illicit drugs of various quantities including methamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA as well as a large sum of cash.
Two people at the property, a 46-year-old man from Adelaide and a 33-year-old woman from Lockleys were arrested.
Later that night police also searched storage units in the CBD and found amounts of GHB (1,4 Butanediol) and cannabis.
The Adelaide man was charged with five counts of trafficking a controlled drug, two counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, money laundering and hindering police.
The Lockleys woman was charged with five counts of trafficking a controlled drug, trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, providing false details and hindering police.
They were both refused bail and appeared in court on Monday. CO2600024318
