Suspicious fire at West Croydon

Just after 11.30pm on Tuesday 14 July, police and MFS crews were called to a house in Ellen Street after reports of a large fire.

Seven occupants of the property were evacuated to safety and there were no reports of any injuries.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze which caused extensive damage to the house.

Police believe the fire was deliberately lit.
