Car fire at Edwardstown

Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Edwardstown in the early hours of this morning.

About 3.50am today (Wednesday 15 July), police and MFS crews were called to Ackland Street after reports that a Holden station wagon was on fire.

The blaze was extinguished by MFS crews but the vehicle was extensively damaged.

Further investigations revealed that the car had been stolen from a Huntfield Heights address a few hours before the fire.
