Man stabbed at Enfield

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the stomach at Enfield last night.

The violent disturbance occurred at a hotel on Main North Road, Enfield just before 10pm on Sunday 28 April.

When police arrived, they located a 38-year-old Paralowie man with an injury to the abdomen.  The suspect had already left the hotel.

The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Western District CIB detectives and crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene.  This incident is not random and it is understood the people involved are known to each other.

Investigations are continuing.
