Police have arrested a man following break-ins at Torrensville early this morning.
About 12.50am on Wednesday 8 May, police responded to alarm activations at a grocery store on Henley Beach Road.
Police patrols attended with dog operations and found a roller door open at the back of the premises. The building was searched but no one found inside so a wider search was conducted where police found a second break-in at a hairdresser on Henley Beach Road.
PolAir assisted with the search and a short time later, officers spotted a man on Holbrooks Road who immediately started jumping fences upon seeing police. He then climbed up onto the roof of a house in nearby Howard Street but came down soon after and was arrested.
A 36-year-old man from Torrensville has been charged with two counts of serious criminal trespass. He is expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
