Heroin and cash seized

Three people will face serious drug charges after Western District Detectives conducted a recent Operation.

On Friday 3 May police stopped a 41-year-old Broadview man driving in Broadview. Police had cause to search the man and vehicle, allegedly uncovering an amount of heroin. He was arrested for eleven counts of trafficking heroin and has been bailed to the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 10 July.

On Monday 6 May police attended and searched a Blair Athol home. Inside, officers allegedly located $4000 cash and drug paraphernalia.  a 37-year-old woman from the address was arrested and charged with 24 counts of drug trafficking. She appeared in court and was remanded in custody to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court 14 May.

On Monday 6 May police also attended and searched an Ingle Farm home where they allegedly located $3700 cash and drug paraphernalia. A 35-year-old man from the address was charged with one count of drug trafficking. He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court 16 June.

On Tuesday 7 May police attended and searched a Pooraka address where they allegedly located over 400 individually packaged heroin bindles and drug paraphernalia.
