Copper thief arrested at Kilburn

About 4.15pm on Tuesday 29 September, police responded to reports of a man breaking into a vacant property on Goodman Avenue.

Western District police responded and found the suspect still inside the property

Police will allege the man was stealing copper wiring.

The man’s belongings were searched and police located stolen copper, tapware and tools.

A 48-year-old man from Elizabeth Downs was charged with being unlawfully on premises, attempted theft, property damage and going equipped to commit an offence. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 24 November.
