Alcohol stolen during robbery

About 12.15pm on Friday 16 May, patrols were called to Port Road at Thebarton after reports of a bottle shop robbery.

Police will allege a black Mitsubishi Outlander entered the bottle shop, the driver got out of the car brandishing a knife and stole alcohol.  The car was last seen heading west on Phillips Street.

Fortunately, no one was physically injured as a result of the robbery.

The man is described as about 178cm, with fair coloured hair and a scruffy beard.
