Truck crash at Burton

Police and emergency services attended a single-vehicle crash at Burton this morning.

Just after 5.30am on Wednesday 24 June, police were called to Waterloo Corner Road, after reports a truck had collided with a light pole.

The crash caused damage to a nearby bus stop and brought down a light pole, with live wires exposed.

SA Power Networks have been notified and are attending to make the scene safe.

The driver had left the scene prior to emergency services arriving and enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.

The truck was towed from the scene.
