Stolen motorbikes recovered Morphett Vale

About 9.40pm on Wednesday 12 August, police were patrolling on the Southern Expressway at Hackham West when the spotted two motorbikes being ridden on the adjacent bike track.

Police kept observation on the bikes before they were last seen heading east on Flaxmill Road.

A short time later, police conducted a search at a Morphett Vale home where officers located four stolen motorbikes/scooters. The vehicles were subsequently seized and two teenagers at the home were arrested.

An 18-year-old man from Morphett Vale was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicenced and other traffic offences. He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 27 August.

A 14-year-old boy from Morphett Vale was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and driving unlicenced. He was bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Youth Court on 10 September.
