Speeding driver stopped at Oakden Hills

A driver was issued an expiation notice after being detected speeding.
Just before 3.30pm on Saturday 12 September, Woomera police were performing mobile radar duties on the Stuart Highway south of Pimba, when a Nissan station wagon was detected travelling 169km/h in a 110km/h speed zone.
The driver, a 20-year-old man from overseas was subsequently issued a fine for exceeding the speed limit, totalling $1,901.00 and 7 demerit points.
