Police investigate break-in and theft in Adelaide CBD

Police are investigating a break-in and theft that occurred at an Adelaide CBD apartment and are seeking information from the public.

About 1pm on Friday 17 July, two people entered an apartment at a residential complex on Grote Street, Adelaide.

The occupants were asleep inside the apartment when they were disturbed by the suspects, who attempted to leave with a black Nike backpack containing a wallet and an HP laptop.

One of the occupants was assaulted during the incident but was not physically injured.

One suspect is described as a Caucasian man, tall, with a medium build, short dark hair and aged in his mid-20s. He was wearing grey track pants and a black hooded jumper with red writing on the back.

The other suspect is described as an Aboriginal woman, short, of medium build, with dark hair worn in a bun and aged in her mid-20s. She was wearing black pants and a grey jacket.

Investigations remain ongoing.
