Speeder detected at Wallaroo

About 8.20pm on Monday 26 October, police were conducting speed detection duties on the Spencer Highway when they recorded a Subaru station wagon travelling 122km/h in a 110km/h zone.

The driver a 32-year-old local man was submitted to a driver test which police will allege returned a positive result of 0.094.

The driver was reported for drink driving, exceeding the speed limit and issued a six-month instant loss of licence notice.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
