Shadow Fleet bring traffic offenders out of the darkness

Shadow Fleet assists police in detecting drug drivers across the southern suburbs.

About 5.40pm on Tuesday 11 August, police spotted a Toyota 4WD travelling south on Victor Harbor Road, Old Noarlunga.

Police saw the Toyota drive over a median strip into the path of police.

Police stopped the Toyota and submitted the driver a 20-year-old man from Huntfield Heights to a drug test which returned a positive result to cannabis and cocaine.

He was reported for drug driving, issued a three-month instant loss of licence notice pending results of a forensic analysis.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

About 5.45pm police stopped a Holden utility on Corinth Road, Hackham West.

The driver of the Holden a 23-year-old man from Morphett Vale returned a positive result to cocaine.

Checks on the driver's licence revealed he was driving whilst disqualified.

The man was reported for drug driving and drive disqualified. He was issued a 3-month instant loss of licence notice, and his car was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

About 8.20pm police stopped a Ford sedan on Main South Road Seaford or the purpose of a driver test.

It will be alleged the driver a 23-year-old man from Huntfield Heights returned a positive result to cocaine.

He was issued and expiation notice for drug driving, breach of provisional licence conditions and issued a three-month instant loss of licence notice pending results of a forensic analysis.
