Drink driver stopped at Melrose Park

About 1.30am today Wednesday 12 August, police stopped a Holden sedan on South Road for the purpose of a breath test.

The driver allegedly returned a positive roadside breath test.

The driver a 22-year-old man from Noarlunga was taken to Netley Police Station for a breath analysis test where it will be alleged he refused to submit to the breath analysis.

The driver was reported for failing to submit to a breath analysis, issued a 12-month instant loss of licence notice and his car was impounded for 28 days.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
