Serious crash at Williamstown

A man has been seriously injured after a crash in the Barossa last night

About 10.30pm Sunday 5 July, Police and emergency services were called to Victoria Terrace, Williamstown, following reports of a car crashing into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant, a 32-year-old Uleybury man, was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency crews were on scene. The vehicle was towed and the road has now re-opened.

Investigations are continuing.
