Serious crash at Parafield

About 6pm on Tuesday 30 April, police were called to Main North Road near the intersection of Maxwell Road after a motorbike collided with two cars. The motorcycle collided with the rear of a Nissan ute and then with a Volkswagen sedan.

The motorcycle rider, a 25-year-old Hillcrest man, sustained serious injuries in the crash and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not considered life threatening at this time. The two other drivers were not injured.

Southbound traffic on Main North Road was restricted to one lane while police investigated the crash but was reopened after 9pm.
