Youths arrested for breaking into cars at Daw Park

Police have arrested two youths after allegedly breaking into cars in Daw Park this morning.

Just before 1.30am Monday 6 May, police received calls from residents in Aver Avenue about a group of kids breaking into cars in the street.

Patrols attended and were unable to locate the youths but did locate a blue Hyundai sedan which had a smashed rear window in the street.

Patrols with the assistance of PD Cooper, searched the area and located and arrested two youths on Rozelle Avenue Melrose Park.

The two boys aged 13 years of Hackham and Huntfield Heights have been charged with possessing an article to commit and offence and illegal interference.

They have both been bailed to appear at the Adelaide Youth Court on 20 June 2024.
