Woman arrested at Glengowrie

About 9.30pm on Wednesday 19 August, police conducted a check a licensed premises at Glengowrie with a police drug detection dog.

During the operation, a 46-year-old Glenelg East woman was positively indicated by the dog. Police subsequently searched the woman and located approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine, scales and other drug-related paraphernalia.

The woman was arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug.

Police later executed a search warrant at the woman's home, where additional drug paraphernalia was located and seized.

She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
