Police pounce on Jaguar

About 9.45am Tuesday 16 April police were conducting speed detection duties for south bound traffic (uphill) on Main South Road when they clocked a silver Jaguar travelling at 146km/h in an 80km/h zone.

Police were able to stop the car and speak to the driver, an 18-year-old Sheidow Park man, checks revealed he was the holder of a P 1 licence. He was reported for driving at speed dangerous, exceed speed and breaching provisional licence conditions.

The Jaguar towed from the scene and impounded for 28 days. He will be summonsed to court at a later date.
