Man arrested over graffiti at Park Holme

A man was arrested following an incident at Park Holme today.

About 12pm on Saturday 8 August, police were called to a mosque on Marion Road following reports a man was graffitiing. Police quickly responded and arrested the man at the scene.

A 32-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with sacrilege, being unlawfully on premises, theft and mark graffiti. He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

Police do not believe this incident is religiously motivated however understand this malicious act can make community members feel unsafe.  Police will not tolerate any such behaviour.
