Fatal crash at Elizabeth Vale

Just after 10am on Wednesday 5 August, police were called to Main North Road, Elizabeth Vale to reports of a crash involving a Holden sedan and a Kenworth prime mover.

The driver of the truck, a 37-year-old man from Victoria was not injured.

The driver and sole occupant of the sedan, a 71-year-old man from Brahma Lodge was taken to hospital for treatment.

Today Saturday 8 August, the man sadly died as a result of his injuries.

Major Crash Investigators continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
