Man arrested in possession of knives at Edwardstown

About 12.30pm on Monday 27 July, police were conducting proactive policing activities within a declared shopping precinct at a shopping centre on South Road.

Police conducted a metal detector search of a 44-year-old man from Victoria where it will be alleged two knives were located in his possession.

The man was arrested and charged with numerous offences including carry an offensive weapon.

He was refused bail and later appeared at the Adelaide Magistrates Court.
