Two men have been arrested after firearms were seized at Elizabeth Downs.
It will be alleged that about 7.30pm on Sunday 2 November, officers from the Northern District Volume Crime Section went to a house in Barrington Road, locating two sawn-off rifles (one loaded), a replica handgun, various forms of ammunition and multiple prohibited weapons including knuckle dusters.
A 42-year-old Adelaide man and a 30-year-old man from the property were arrested and charged with numerous offences including aggravated possess firearm without a licence, possess ammunition and possess prohibited weapon.
They were both refused bail and appeared in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today (Monday 3 November).
