House fire at Davoren Park

Just after 3.30am this morning (Monday 5 May) police and fire crews were called to Peachey Road after reports of a house on fire.

On arrival they found the house fully ablaze. MFS moved quickly and were able to extinguish the fire, but not before significant damage to the house was caused.

Occupants of house who were home at the time of the fire were able to evacuate and were uninjured.

Fire cause investigators are currently at the scene.

Peachey Road is currently closed for North bound traffic between Womma Road and Swallowcliffe Road. Members of the public are advised to use Easton Road or Heytesbury Road to avoid this incident.
