A man has been arrested on a stolen motorcycle at Salisbury Park this morning.
About 6.45am on Monday 7 April, a woman called police after seeing her stolen motorbike being ridden along Main North Road, Pooraka.
She followed the motorbike and provided updates of its location to police as it travelled through to the Salisbury area.
Police used the motorbike’s GPS along with PolAir to track it through the northern suburbs.
The rider abandoned the bike in Pemberley Avenue, Salisbury Park and ran off.
The alleged rider was found shortly after and arrested.
A 21-year-old man from Salisbury Park was charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle. He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 29 May.
