Intoxicated driver in Naracoorte

About 10pm on Monday 28 April, police removed a man from a local hotel due to his level of intoxication.

A short time later, the man was seen driving a car on a nearby street.  The 43-year-old man from Mount McIntyre was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

He was requested to submit to a breath analysis however he refused to comply and did not submit a sample.  He was further changed with this offence.

He was issued a 12-momth immediate loss of licence and his car was impounded for 28 days.  He was bailed to appear in Naracoorte Magistrates Court on 18 June.
