Arrests over robbery in the CBD

30 Apr 2025 7:58am

Four youths have been arrested following investigations into a CBD robbery on the weekend.

It will be alleged just after 12pm on Sunday 27 April, four youths entered a convenience store on Hindley Street armed with a knife, threatened the staff member and demanded cash.

One of the group assaulted the worker, jumped the counter and attempted to steal cash.

The group ran from the store empty-handed and thankfully the staff member was not seriously injured.

Four boys, aged 13, 13, 14 and 15, all from the western suburbs, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

They were bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 13 June and 18 June.
