Alleged drink driver hits two cars at Hampstead Gardens

Police were called to Fleet Street, Hampstead Gardens just after 8pm on Monday 19 May by reports a car had hit two cars in two separate crashes, in Fleet Street and Ways Road.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.

The driver, a 43-year-old man from Hampstead Gardens, was taken to hospital for a blood test.

He was reported for driving while under the influence and driving without due care and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

The man's Mitsubishi ute and one of the other vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
